Help leading Capital Markets organisations turn AI opportunities into scalable business solutions across front, middle, and back-office operations
The Role
Join Capco's Capital Markets practice as an AI Business Analyst, helping investment banks, exchanges, market infrastructure providers, broker-dealers, asset managers, and trading organisations bridge the gap between emerging AI capabilities and practical business outcomes.
This role sits at the intersection of business analysis, AI enablement, and transformation delivery, supporting clients as they identify, prioritise, and implement AI-driven solutions across trading, operations, risk, compliance, regulatory reporting, client servicing, and post-trade functions.
You'll work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, delivery teams, AI engineers, architects, and data specialists to define use cases, analyse processes, gather requirements, and support the successful delivery of AI-enabled solutions within complex and highly regulated Capital Markets environments.
You'll also help clients adopt AI responsibly by balancing innovation with governance, operational risk, model oversight, regulatory expectations, and human judgement. You'll contribute to AI governance, business readiness, change adoption, and value realisation, ensuring AI-enabled solutions deliver measurable business outcomes while supporting operational resilience and regulatory compliance.
What You'll Do
- Partner with stakeholders across Front Office, Middle Office, Operations, Risk, Compliance, Technology, and Product teams to identify, prioritise, and define AI-enabled opportunities, including Generative AI, Agentic AI, intelligent automation, and AI-assisted decision support.
- Facilitate workshops, gather and document business requirements, map processes, develop user stories, and translate complex trading, operational, and regulatory challenges into scalable AI-enabled business solutions.
- Support Agile and hybrid delivery programmes through backlog refinement, acceptance criteria, stakeholder engagement, governance, reporting, and change management activities, using approved AI tools where they improve productivity, quality, or insight.
- Collaborate with AI engineers, architects, product owners, and business SMEs to support the design, testing, validation, deployment, and continuous improvement of AI-enabled capabilities while ensuring appropriate governance, auditability, and human oversight.
- Support responsible AI adoption by contributing to AI governance, operational risk management, regulatory compliance, business readiness, user adoption, monitoring, and performance measurement across Capital Markets transformation programmes.
What We're Looking For
- Experience working as a Business Analyst, Consultant, or transformation professional within Capital Markets, with exposure to Investment Banking, Equities, Fixed Income, FX, Commodities, Derivatives, Securities Services, Prime Services, or Market Infrastructure.
- Strong stakeholder management, business analysis, workshop facilitation, and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex AI concepts into clear business outcomes.
- Good understanding of AI technologies and enterprise AI capabilities, including Generative AI, GPT, Microsoft Copilot, Agentic AI, NLP, intelligent automation, and AI-assisted decision support.
- Experience supporting business, technology, data, or AI transformation programmes using Agile delivery methodologies, process optimisation, and organisational change approaches.
- Strong analytical mindset with an understanding of operational risk, AI governance, regulatory expectations, and responsible AI adoption within highly regulated Capital Markets environments.
Bonus Points For
- Experience delivering transformation initiatives across Front Office, Electronic Trading, Trade Lifecycle Management, Post-Trade Operations, Settlements, Regulatory Reporting, Market Risk, or Client Lifecycle Management.
- Knowledge of Capital Markets regulations including MiFID II, EMIR, Dodd-Frank, SFTR, CFTC, Basel, or other global regulatory reporting frameworks.
- Experience supporting AI product delivery, intelligent automation, workflow orchestration, or Agentic AI initiatives within Capital Markets.
- Familiarity with SDLC, DevOps, MLOps, enterprise AI platforms, AI governance frameworks, or enterprise data governance.
- Experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Platform, Power Automate, Azure AI services, or enterprise Capital Markets workflow and data platforms.
