We are looking for an experienced AI & Backend Engineer to lead the design and implementation of AI-powered backend solutions. This role will focus on Large Language Model (LLM) integrations, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) modeling, and complex system/API integrations.
Location: MEXICO
Qualifications we are looking for:
4+ years of backend engineering experience
Hands-on experience integrating LLMs into production environments
Strong understanding of RAG architectures, embeddings, and vector databases
Experience designing and consuming REST APIs
Strong knowledge of Python, Node.js, or similar backend technologies
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Solid understanding of system design and scalable architectures
Experience working with distributed systems
Nice to Have:
Experience integrating with ServiceNow or other Helpdesk platforms
Experience building AI-powered automation tools
DevOps experience (CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes)
Job duties:
Design and implement backend services integrating LLMs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure OpenAI, etc.)
Develop and optimize RAG pipelines (vector databases, embeddings, retrieval strategies)
Architect scalable backend solutions to support AI-driven applications
Integrate AI capabilities into enterprise systems via REST/GraphQL APIs
Design and implement system-to-system integrations
Ensure performance, security, and reliability of AI-powered services
Collaborate with product and business stakeholders to translate use cases into technical solutions
Maintain clean, testable, and production-ready code
