About BeHeard
BeHeard is a superconductor between businesses and their customers for feedback. We use considerate AI agents to gather deep insights throughout the customer journey, direct executives to improve their offerings, and boost revenues, reimagining what an AI-native feedback would be for businesses.
About You and This Role
You are an experienced engineer who can stand up reliable service endpoints with ease. You are comfortable being one of the first engineering hires at a fast-paced, dynamic startup. You will work directly with the CTO to design and deploy the backend for key pilot customers.
Qualifications
- Expert knowledge of AWS services like RDS, API Gateway, Lambda
- Expert knowledge of designing, maintaining, and scaling high-availability backend services
- Expert knowledge of databases ranging from Postgres to DynamoDB
- Commitment to code quality, code review, unit tests
- Working knowledge of Terraform and other infrastructure as code (IaC)
- Working knowledge of network security and encryption
- Willing to work on-site in the San Francisco Bay Area or Phoenix, AZ
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary of $150,000 - $250,000
- Equity of .5% - 1%, based on experience and salary expectations
