About the Job
The mission of the AI Activation Strategist is to act as a trusted partner and guide for our clients, transforming business needs into functional AI-driven solutions within the Vendasta ecosystem. The person in this role brings a service-first mindset, genuine curiosity about AI, and a consultative, people-focused communication style. You'll build strong client relationships from the very first conversation, understand what each client needs, get their solution up and running, and keep checking in to make sure it continues to deliver results. Along the way, you'll use AI tools to work more efficiently, spot opportunities, and find new ways to help clients succeed.
Your Impact
As an AI Activation Strategist, you'll work with clients, Senior Specialists, and AI Workflow Architects to:
- Get to know clients and their businesses, listening closely to understand their goals and where AI-powered digital marketing can help
- Be the client's go-to person, giving them one familiar point of contact from start to finish
- Recommend solutions that fit each client's needs, using Vendasta AI tools (e.g., Rep AI, Content AI) to bring their digital marketing strategy to life
- Set up and fine-tune AI tools behind the scenes so they run smoothly for the client
- Walk clients through their finished solution and make sure they're happy before launch
- Train clients so they feel confident using their solution on their own
- Partner with Senior Specialists or AI Workflow Architects when a client needs something more customized
- Check in regularly to review results and make adjustments that keep clients successful
What You Bring to the Table
The ideal candidate is a warm, clear communicator who can explain new ideas in a way that makes sense to small business owners and shows them real value. Hands-on experience in digital marketing is a must-have, since you'll be using AI tools directly to carry out digital marketing strategies for your clients. You enjoy owning client relationships from beginning to end, from the first conversation through training and ongoing support, and you bring a consultative, service-first approach to everything you do. You have 2+ years of experience in Client Success, Account Management, Implementation, Consulting, or a related customer-facing role, preferably within a SaaS or technology environment. You should be excited to use AI tools every day, but you don't need a technical background; we'll train you on the specifics. A Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.

Skills Required
- 2+ years of experience in Client Success, Implementation, Technical Consulting, or a related field
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Communications, Information Technology, or a related field
- Strong AI fluency, including understanding of LLM capabilities, prompt engineering, and customizing AI workflows in a SaaS environment
- Analytical auditing skills to monitor AI outputs for errors and make iterative adjustments
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Consultative communication skills to translate complex AI concepts into business value for SMBs
