Agile Project Manager (APM)
Location: Remote.
Employment Type: Full-time.
Salary Range: $110,000 – $130,000+ (based on experience).
Program OverviewThe Agile Project Manager (APM) will support the Non-Ferrous Founders’ Society (NFFS) Integrated Casting Order Network (ICON) portal, providing project management expertise across system development, sustainment, and maintenance operations.
This program leverages advanced technology to expand ICON portal capabilities and requires strong knowledge of project management, cybersecurity standards, and the software development lifecycle (SDLC). The APM will identify application deficiencies, ensure system performance optimization, and lead initiatives to enhance functionality, including secure classified transaction capabilities.
Duties of an Agile Project Manager may include but are not limited to:Using consultative skills and business knowledge to advise on objectives, processes, and systems integration.
Analyzing IT business needs, gathering data, researching problems, and recommending solutions.
Collecting requirements through interviews and surveys and preparing findings for stakeholders.
Creating, reviewing, and delivering final reports and presentations.
Managing Agile processes, requirements, Jira, and related technical documentation.
Delivering multiple Agile projects and removing blockers using appropriate methodologies.
Defining product roadmaps with Product Owners and translating into user stories.
Prioritizing user stories within the product backlog.
Managing cross-functional teams of developers, DBAs, and testers.
Implementing quality assurance and quality control processes.
Overseeing IT development, operations, and maintenance support.
Providing technical leadership and guidance in environments leveraging AWS Cloud tools (DB2, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch, Tomcat, React, Auth0, AWS S3, Java, etc.).
4+ years of IT Project Management experience.
4+ years of experience with SDLC phases.
4+ years of experience with cybersecurity development and operations in a cloud environment.
Certified Scrum Master.
PMP Certified.
Strong working knowledge of PMP and SDLC (Agile/Hybrid) practices.
Demonstrated ability to tailor and manage PMP and SDLC processes using PMI best practices.
Project management experience with NIST 800-171, CMMC, or similar cybersecurity standards (nice to have).
Experience serving as a technical advisor to customers.
Willingness to travel occasionally to onsite locations (as required).
Active SECRET Security Clearance highly preferred.
Education:Undergraduate degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.
