We are looking for a Senior Agentic Data Engineer / Agentic Data Platform Specialist who enjoys building data platforms in the new way — not just talking about them, reading about them, but actually building them for the largest global companies. You must be strong in CORE data knowledge – terms like Kimball, Inmon and star schema are projects done for you, not terms from Wikipedia.
In this role, you’ll design, build, and operate modern cloud data platforms including data warehouses, data lakes, and ETL/ELT pipelines, but with a twist. With agents and FOR agents. You won’t be working in isolation — you’ll act as a technical leader within cross‑functional delivery teams, influencing architecture and technical decisions across one or more workstreams. Yeah and using AI-first mindset every. Single. Day.

What You’ll Do
Design, develop, and maintain cloud‑based data platform components including DWH, ODS, and ETL/ELT pipelines, using agentic tools like Claude Code, Windsurf, Cursor, Codex, Antigravity. Not all at once of course. Also not at all our clients. Some have only started with e.g. GitHub Copilot.
Own technical decisions and contribute to solution architecture across multiple workstreams
Collaborate closely with business and technical stakeholders to deliver scalable, production‑ready data solutions with agents on your mind
Ensure data quality, reliability, and integration across the full data stack
Apply engineering best practices to build maintainable, testable, and well‑documented solutions in a brave new agentic word
Mentor junior engineers and actively contribute to continuous improvement within the team. Also you’ll be controlling your own or client agentic suite.
What We’re Looking For
5+ years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, or cloud data platform delivery
1+ year of fooling around with the agentic world and most importantly – having AI FIRST mindset is the key; Examples of reinvented personal workflows, tools, gadgets appreciated. Personal GitHub repo with vibe coded AI slop projects more than welcome!
Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (one of AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Experience with ETL / orchestration tools such as Matillion, Airflow, dbt, or Informatica
Strong skills in data set logic with SQL and Python / PySpark
Solid understanding of DWH / ODS data modeling and layered data architectures
Comfortable leading delivery in agile or waterfall environments
Strong communication skills and ability to work across teams
Nice to Have
Experience with Databricks, including Delta Lake and Unity Catalog
