As an Agentic AI Principal Software Engineer at JPMorganChase within the Asset & Wealth Management MarTech Team, you provide deep engineering expertise to enhance, build, and deliver secure, scalable, and market-leading technology products. You lead the development of innovative, AI-driven solutions, driving strategic product development and influencing business and technology teams while leveraging cloud platforms, advanced software architecture, and machine learning. Job responsibilities
- Creates complex and scalable coding frameworks using appropriate software design frameworks
- Develops secure and high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others
- Advises cross-functional teams on technological matters within your domain of expertise
- Serves as the function’s go-to subject matter expert
- Contributes to the development of technical methods in specialized fields in line with the latest product development methodologies
- Creates durable, reusable software frameworks that are leveraged across teams and functions
- Influences leaders and senior stakeholders across business, product, and technology teams

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 10+ years applied experience
- Lead the design and development of agentic AI solutions leveraging large language models (LLMs) to automate lead qualification and engagement workflows, integrating AI capabilities into existing Java-based Martech platforms for enhanced lead management and advisor support
- Advance experience with Java, Python, Java Spring, ORM frameworks, Agentic AI frameworks (a2a, langGraph), messaging frameworks, unit and automated testing frameworks (BDD, Functional & Performance), and databases
- Demonstrates extensive hands-on experience in software engineering and Machine Learning (ML) engineering, with a proven track record of shipping production systems
- Advanced knowledge of software architecture, applications, and technical processes with in-depth expertise in one or more technical disciplines
- Architects and implements high-throughput, low-latency microservices with WebSocket, gRPC, REST, and GraphQL, including protocol buffer schema design, streaming endpoints, and load balancing
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
