This role will report to the EMEA Head of Agency Development and it will support the DACH Holding Company relationships.
As we expand across Europe, we’re looking for a strategic and relationship-driven Agency Development Lead to grow Reddit’s presence in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland). You will be responsible for driving revenue and customer satisfaction, identifying growth opportunities through strategic partnerships, education programs, decision maker engagements and next generation business solutions for our customers. You'll develop strategic relationships and have a business-building mindset, partnering closely and in collaboration with the global agency leads, regional/local sales leads and key cross-functional partners.
What You’ll Do:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key agency groups and holding companies in the DACH region.
- Act and serve as a liaison between Holding Companies and Reddit to help develop first-class strategic programs and partnerships
- Formulate and execute quarterly/annual Holding Company go-to-market strategy for the region to grow agency partnerships and increase investment in Reddit across the DACH market – ensuring alignment with overall global & regional corporate/sales objectives
- Develop and execute a regional strategy to Collaborate with all key internal stakeholders, including cross-functional leads, to ensure successful delivery of the go-to-market strategy
- Formulate and negotiate partnership and trading agreements at an agency holding company level and lead the execution of process
- Develop and contribute to tentpole events in collaboration with business marketing
- Lead and facilitate educational training to inform best practices for using Reddit
- Work with agencies to uplevel their creative strategy and execution to deliver positive business outcomes for their clients
- Provide input to Product Marketing and Product teams about advertiser insights and needs for new products, features and solutions
- Partner with sales to develop and create account-level planning initiatives to accelerate acquisition (net new) and same-store (existing) advertiser growth
What We’re Looking For:
- 10+ years of experience in advertising, media partnerships, or agency development preferably with experience working across DACH markets.
- Deep understanding of the agency and holding company landscape in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
- Proven success in developing strategic partnerships and driving revenue growth through influence and relationship-building.
- Strong business acumen and experience building go-to-market strategies or regional growth plans.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in both English and German.
- Collaborative, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity and move quickly.
- A passion for community, culture, and helping brands connect authentically with audiences.
