Your Impact
As the Aftercare & Communications Coordinator, you'll help ensure donor families receive compassionate support while coordinating the communication programs that keep them connected to LifeShare Network's mission. You'll serve as a key resource for volunteers, assist with community outreach efforts, and help execute programs that honor the incredible gift of donation.
In this role, you will:
- Provide compassionate aftercare support to donor families through phone calls, correspondence, and resource coordination.
- Coordinate donor family and transplant recipient correspondence while maintaining confidentiality and timely communication.
- Manage the distribution and inventory of aftercare materials, grief resources, brochures, and promotional items.
- Maintain accurate records within a CRM Foundation database.
- Coordinate and support LifeShare Network’s volunteer program, including recruiting, onboarding, training, scheduling, and ongoing engagement.
- Connect volunteers with community events, speaking opportunities, and public education initiatives.
- Assist with statewide marketing and outreach efforts, including public events, driver's education programs, and tag agency initiatives.
- Collaborate with the Communications team on special projects that support donor families and increase community awareness.
- Help ensure projects, communications, and administrative responsibilities are completed accurately and on schedule.
What You Bring
We're looking for someone who combines compassion with exceptional organization and communication skills.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Administration, General Studies, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- One to three years of experience in administrative support, volunteer coordination, nonprofit organizations, communications, or a related field.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong public speaking and presentation abilities.
- Exceptional organizational skills with close attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while consistently meeting deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build meaningful relationships.
- Professionalism, empathy, and discretion when working with sensitive information.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Outlook.

Work Environment
This position is based in Oklahoma City and primarily works standard business hours. Occasional evening or weekend events, community outreach activities, and travel throughout Oklahoma may be required. Mileage reimbursement is provided for approved business travel using a personal vehicle.
