- After Care Monday through Friday 2:30 pm to 6:00 pm EST

- We encourage Career and Professional Development. We welcome candidates from a variety of educational and professional backgrounds, including:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Previous experience working with children in schools, camps, childcare centers, tutoring programs, sports, enrichment programs, or youth organizations is highly preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain certification).
- Training in relevant childcare subjects

Skills Required
- One year working with school-age youth (ages 4-10) in a school/after-school setting
- Ability to command respect and cooperation in an elementary classroom
- Confidence to run a classroom independently
- Applicants must be 18+
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Team player who can collaborate with peers
- Ability to assess and solve problems associated with elementary-aged children
- Ability to create and maintain a fun, caring, and responsive educational environment
- Able to stay active and on your feet for extended periods; able to move quickly and participate in physical activities
- ASL skills (premium hourly rates available where applicable)
What We Do
Apollo After School is a comprehensive extended day program for students in Pre-Kindergarten through 8th grade, providing a safe, fun, and friendly environment offering homework help, enrichment activities, and physical activities outside of regular school hours.
