Affixing Operator
Role Summary
Our client seeks an Affixing Operator to join their rapidly growing operations team. The Affixing Operator is responsible for operating in a direct mail manufacturing facility with a focus on reduction in cost-related errors, exceeding client expectations, and driving a safe workplace.
Key Results Area

Operates and maintains equipment

Performs adjustments on the machine per job instructions
-
Meets and exceeds production standards and maintains customer quality requirements

Communicates job status and production concerns/issues during shift change
-
Follows all safety policies and procedures
-
Adheres to all current Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
-
Troubleshoots problems with minimum delay time
-
Communicate with Management on any problems developing and corrective action
-
Works with urgency when equipment is down to maintain production requirements

Continues learning new and improved processes to achieve increased production
-
Facilitates teamwork among team members and between shifts
-
Performs additional responsibilities as required to ensure the team's success
Skills & Qualifications
-
High school diploma or GED required
-
Two (2) years of manufacturing experience (Preferred)
-
Able to move and lift 25 pounds regularly and up to 40 pounds occasionally
-
Able to stand on concrete for 10-12 hours.

Willingness to work overtime when needed
-
Ability to apply written and verbal instructions for machine set-up

Ability to use hands, wrists, and arms to handle material
-
Good interpersonal skills to effectively interact with team members
-
Must demonstrate reliability through attendance, punctuality, and ability to stay in the work area
