The challenge

This Project Manager will work directly with our customers to drive their enterprise solutions development, support and implementations using Adobe Technologies e.g., AEM (sites, forms, assets etc), Adobe Campaign, Analytics, RTCDP etc. Working at multiple levels with the Adobe consultants, Product engineering, customer and partner resources, you will evaluate the proposed solution, assess risks, plan the implementation, own the delivery, and manage the overall success of the project(s). You will own delivery and acceptance of the project scope as defined in the statement of work using our consulting methodology including tasks, deliverables, milestones, and resources, all the time coordinating with the core and field engineering teams as needed. You will ensure successful customer deployment.

What you'll do

  • Act as the central client point of contact throughout the life of the project, including during presales with project scoping
  • Clearly understand and communicate customer requirements and integration points in the context of the statement of work.
  • Coordinate project delivery process with key contributors to help handle scope and prepare change requests, including tasks, deliverables, landmarks, resources, and estimated costs.
  • Handle all day-to-day administrative activities of a given project from inception to closure.
  • Maintain regular communication with both the customer and internal teams, and constantly manage customer expectations.
  • Achieve customer delight through successful delivery of defined project scope.
  • Compile customer requests and deployment issues, to provide a feedback channel into our core products.
  • Work with third-party subcontractors and technology partners as required.
  • Gain and communicate experiences in formal post-mortem, feeding lessons learned, standard methodologies and resources back into the consulting practice
  • Report project status internally and externally

What you need to succeed

  • Overall 10-15 years of experience in IT
  • proven experience as a project manager including client facing project management, including delivering enterprise-scale web applications or analytics implementations
  • Solid project management experience in application support and maintenance projects.
  • Innovative problem solver.
  • Strong verbal, presentation and written communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to identify issues, solve them quickly and well, and know when to rely on internal resources to assist.
  • Strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
  • Professional demeanour, ability to interact with and lead teams with varied strengths throughout Adobe, and communicating with client managers, directors
  • Superb organizational skills to be able to coordinate complicated projects.
  • Exceptional team building and team management skills, with shown experience handling virtual teams.
  • Prior experience with the launch and operation of a highly available, high traffic internet or mobile service.
  • Shown ability to understand the impact of technical changes, and to articulate high level technical solutions to address business problems.
  • Understanding of standard software development processes and engagement methodologies. Hands on experience in handling agile development projects is a must
  • Expereince managing projects with one or more of following technologies: AEM, AEP, Adobe Campaign, Adobe Analytics, RTCDP, Target , UI frameworks like React, Typescript, Node.js
  • Proven understanding of and experience with one or more of the following domains: Web Content Management, Rich internet applications, Web & Social Analytics, online ad targeting and content personalization.
  • Ability to handle in an environment of ambiguity with diverse customers.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and generate opportunities for repeat business.

Desired

  • Experience as Consulting Manager or Senior Consultant in a large consulting organization
  • 5 or more years Handling Agile development projects
  • Shown experience handling globally distributed teams
