Job Overview: AEM Architect manages the AEM projects, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions. This role is responsible for managing the entire project’s life cycle. The Sr. Technical Architect (AEM) provides technical expertise, oversees the development team, manages the projects timeline and budgets, and collaborates with stakeholders to achieve project goals.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead the AEM development team: Responsible for leading a team of AEM developers and providing technical guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle. This includes assigning tasks, reviewing code, and ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Architecting and designing AEM solutions: Design the architecture and technical solution for AEM projects, considering the client's requirements and best practices. Creating technical specifications, developing AEM components, and integrating AEM with other systems and platforms.
- Customizing and extending AEM functionality: Responsible for customizing and extending the functionality of AEM to meet the specific needs of the project. Develop custom workflows, creating custom components, and integrating third-party plugins and modules. Strong knowledge of Adaptive Forms.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues: Identify and resolve technical issues and challenges that arise during the development and implementation of AEM projects. This includes conducting root cause analysis, debugging code, and implementing appropriate solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders: Work closely with stakeholders, project managers, business analysts, and content authors, to understand their requirements and ensure the successful delivery of AEM projects. Provide technical guidance and support to stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Keeping up to date with AEM trends and best practices: Stay updated with the latest trends, features, and best practices in AEM development. Attend conferences, participate in webinars, and actively seek opportunities to enhance expertise in AEM.
Requirements
- Technical leadership skills with the ability to lead a team by example.
- Strong in communicating with multiple stakeholders with clarity and communication objectives and style.
- Design and develop scalable, integrated, and high-performing AEM solutions.
- Ability to work with multiple technology teams to build and maintain large scale & highly responsive e-commerce apps (preferably cloud based) using Adobe Experience Manager with range of internal and external apps.
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities and analytical skills.
- Result-oriented, reliable, able to work under pressure.
- Setup and configuration of AEM development environments, AEM author and publish instances, dispatcher.
- Experienced with Adobe Adaptive Forms
- Strong experience in jQuery, JavaScript, HTML 5 and CSS.
- Experienced in CI/CD tools like Maven, Jenkins
- Strong experience in Code Quality tools.
- Experience in Agile environment.
- At least 5 years of experience leading technical teams for projects developing Adobe AEM forms including electronic signatures, use of analytics, and 2D barcodes.
- At least 5 years of experience with PDF and html static and dynamic form design using AEM Form Designer software.
- Bachelor’s Degree
