As part of its continued growth, the Fengate Infrastructure team is seeking an experienced Advisor focusing on business development and execution support for our healthcare strategy. This position requires extensive experience of interacting and working with health systems and healthcare providers, as well as a strong background in business development and investment execution related to healthcare opportunities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Healthcare Engagement: Develop and maintain relationships with health systems, healthcare providers, and healthcare developers to identify and pursue strategic opportunities within the infrastructure sector.
- Business Development: Lead initiatives to identify, evaluate, and secure new business opportunities in healthcare.
- Investment Execution: Support the execution of investment strategies, including due diligence, and transaction management for healthcare projects.
- Source and Structure New Opportunities: Identify and structure new investment opportunities and development partnerships/platforms.
- Lead Bidding and Financing: Oversee the bidding process, structure deals, and close investments and financings.
- Due Diligence and Management: Conduct due diligence on new development partnerships and platforms, and manage existing ones.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement strategic plans that align with Fengate’s infrastructure objectives.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to inform business development strategies and investment decisions in healthcare.
- Fundraising and Strategy Support: Assist the team head with fundraising efforts and strategic planning.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
- 10 years experience in business development and investment execution within the healthcare sector
- Undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering or related field
- Relevant graduate degree (MBA, MSc) preferred
- Significant track record of sourcing, structuring and closing acquisitions
- Significant deal execution experience (both acquisitions and financings) in healthcare
- Strong understanding of project risk (development, construction and operation) and project documentation
- Strong track record of providing development capital
- Strong experience in the mid-market
