Job DescriptionAbout the Opportunity
As the Advisor, Partnerships you will work closely with the Director, Partnerships to cultivate meaningful partnerships that advance Minderoo’s strategic objectives, strengthen outcomes and amplify our impact.
You will play a key role in contributing to a high-performing, collaborative team, working productively and partnering closely with Focus and Enabler areas within our matrix structure while promoting our One Minderoo Culture.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Managing partnerships life cycle for key Strategic Partnerships that support Minderoo’s strategic objectives.
- Contributing to partnerships across the Effective Philanthropy team that strengthen and uplift the broader philanthropic sector.
- Triaging funding requests and potential partnership opportunities, progressing them through to partnership development where appropriate.
- Supporting the implementation and delivery of the Centre for Effective Philanthropy Action Plan.
- Maintaining broad sector knowledge and building strong, values aligned relationships and networks across enabling functions and multiple stakeholders.
About You
You are someone who fosters a collaborative, positive, and culturally responsive approach, building relationships grounded in mutual respect, shared values, and inclusivity with all stakeholders.
Additionally, you will bring:
- A degree qualification and around 5 years of professional experience.
- An understanding of partnerships processes and supporting technologies, with proficiency in the MS Office suite, and familiarity with databases such as CRMs.
- Excellent collaboration and influencing skills, with the ability to bring together diverse perspectives, listen deeply, and communicate effectively with partners and stakeholders from all backgrounds.
Above all, you are a team player who values relationship-building, cultural humility, and are passionate about contributing to equity between First Nations and non-Indigenous Australians.
