Opportunity 

We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Advertising Specialist to support the Senior Manager of Performance Marketing in overseeing the advertising and promotional setup for our event brands. The specialist will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and effective management of the marketing operations, supporting campaign execution, optimizing ad spend, and managing key relationships with both internal teams and external agencies. This is a fast-paced, high-impact role with the opportunity to directly contribute to the success of an eight-figure marketing budget and drive revenue growth for the company.   

Responsibilities: 

  • Assist in coordinating end-to-end event processes for two event brands, including liaising with internal teams and external vendors to ensure event components are on track.  

  • Help with reviewing and organizing advertising copy and creative materials for approval.  

  • Monitor daily/weekly performance of ongoing events and campaigns and provide data insights and reporting to the Senior Manager of Performance Marketing.  

  • Assist with analyzing ad spend performance and identifying areas for optimization to meet key performance metrics (KPIs).  

  • Assist in the development of market strategies, including researching audience insights, assisting with A/B testing for creatives, and tracking campaign performance.  

  • Help coordinate cross-channel campaigns (digital, traditional, organic, and paid media) and ensure timely execution across all platforms.  

  • Help review and approve creative assets (ads, videos, merchandise, etc.) to ensure they align with brand messaging and event goals.  

  • Manage project timelines, ensuring all materials and campaigns are delivered on time, and proactively flag any delays or issues.  

  • Help communicate key updates and progress on event execution to internal stakeholders, ensuring transparency across departments.  

  • Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, notes, and follow-up actions to ensure alignment and clear communication.  

  • Manage schedules, coordinate meetings, and handle ad-hoc administrative tasks to support the Sr. Paid Media Ad Manager in their daily responsibilities.  

  • Assist in reconciling invoices and tracking the budget for both advertising spend and event-related expenses. 

Qualifications: 

  • 2-3 years of experience in marketing, event management, or a related field, ideally in a fast-paced environment.  

  • Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.  

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and experience with project management software (e.g., Asana).  

  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and attention to detail.  

  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external agencies.  

  • Knowledge of digital marketing, media strategies, and data analytics is a plus.  

  • Familiarity with ticketing platforms and media buying tools (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, etc.) is a bonus.  

  

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • Experience in high-budget marketing and event campaigns, especially in the entertainment or large-scale consumer event sectors.  

  • Familiarity with advertising spend management and reporting tools.  

  • Project management experience, including PM tools such as Asana or MS Project.  

  • Ability to work under pressure and handle a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
