Abel Womack is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Advanced Technologies Project Manager to oversee the successful execution of advanced technology projects and installations from order placement through completion. This role serves as the primary point of contact for customers, internal teams, and vendors, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with exceptional customer satisfaction. This role will also serve as customer support for technology customer base.

What You'll Do

As the Advanced Technologies Project Manager, you will:

  • Lead post-sale project management for Advanced Technologies projects and installations, related to Raymond product lines (iWarehouse, Integrated Tether, ObjectSense, FieldSense, iTrack, Real Time Location System, etc)
  • Serve as the primary customer contact throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate project kickoff meetings with customers and internal teams.
  • Manage project schedules, timelines, milestones, and job documentation.
  • Conduct IT assessments, network testing, and installation planning activities.
  • Partner with Sales, Service, Parts, Rental, Professional Services, and other internal departments to ensure project success.
  • Coordinate hardware installations and communicate project expectations to customers.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively resolve challenges or issues.
  • Manage customer orders, invoicing, transportation logistics, and final project costing.
  • Follow up with customers after project completion to ensure satisfaction and identify additional opportunities.
  • Provide customer support for existing technology customers relating to software, hardware and networking, from training and troubleshooting to coordinating truck swaps, facility moves and unit/site decommissions
  • Lead project review sessions to identify best practices and continuous improvement opportunities.
 QualificationsRequired
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Networking, IT, and Wi-Fi knowledge.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Clean driving record and willingness to travel throughout the region.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. ]
Preferred
  • Experience in the material handling industry.
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to understand and explain technical concepts.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and technology-driven business solutions.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods.
