Advanced Technical Product Owner – Cloud Portfolio Honeywell’s Security and Access Solutions business provides high-value security products and services that are critical for buildings around the globe. The Advanced Technical Product Owner (TPO) for the cloud portfolio is a high‑impact role responsible for owning and driving product design and consistency across a cloud-based security ecosystem that includes hardware, firmware, APIs, mobile aps, and system‑level integrations.
While we are ideally seeking candidates with significant experience in this field (8+ years), we recognize that exceptional candidates with less experience may also be considered based on their specific skills and characteristics.
This role serves as the backbone between Offering Management, User Experience, and Engineering to translate product vision into prioritized, delivery‑ready backlogs for multiple teams.
ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities- Own and manage end‑to‑end product backlogs including feature definition, grooming, and acceptance.
- Translate customer, offering, regulatory, and cybersecurity requirements into clear capabilities, features, and user stories.
- Support roadmap planning and feature prioritization.
- Act as the interface between Engineering, Cybersecurity, Certification, Documentation, and Offering teams.
- Participate in portfolio reviews, stakeholder syncs, and release planning forums.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics or High School Diploma with relevant work experience.
- 8+ years of experience in software/system product development or technical support (less experience may be considered for exceptional candidates).
- Proven experience as a Product Owner in complex, multi‑team environments.
- Experience working with hardware‑software integrated systems (embedded, firmware).
- Experience working with continuous delivery and dynamic roadmaps.
- Strong expertise translating high level product vision into incrementally deliverable features.
- Excellent communication, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills.
- Background in physical security, access control, video, or similar domains.
- Experience in cybersecurity, certification, or compliance‑driven product environments.
- Experience working in global, distributed engineering organizations.
“The annual base salary range for this position is $128,000- $160,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
