Advanced Systems Engineer

The position is for Advanced Systems Engineer for Traffic & ISS group within in Communication, Navigation & Surveillance COE (CNS COE) at HTS India. Be part of a team that designs, develops and integrates highly complex software functions within products team. You will provide technical expertise as a program team leader in the identification and development of new products. You will lead proposals to address future business opportunities, value engineering and program/process changes.
ResponsibilitiesJob Responsibilities include the following:
- Requirements analysis and system requirement authoring
- Systems design
- System Architecture understanding
- Systems integration & Test
- Systems validation & verification- Prepare detailed test plans, provide test coverage, analyze test data and report test results.
- Customer Interaction- Clearly articulate key performance and operability results within Honeywell.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Constantly look to automate manual and repetitive tasks while reducing or optimizing build/release times.
- Automate and implement the Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipeline.
- Engage with teams and manage build requirements.
- Follow emerging technologies
- Troubleshoot and debug existing product Installers
You Must Have
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electronics/Electrical/Systems/Computer)
- Minimum 6+ years of engineering experience
Qualifications
We Value
- Knowledge of the systems development lifecycle and software development lifecycle
- Familiar with Avionics product lines (TCAS, Transponder, DME, EGPWF etc)
- Experience in systems engineering – system requirement, integration, and verification (DO-178C)
- Working experience on ARP4754 or equivalent standard will be an added advantage.
- Exposure to requirement management tools such as DOORS.
- Exposure to Configuration management like JIRA/ Bitbucket/GIT.
- Knowledge of System Integration test stations/ System Test benches and System test Tools
- Knowledge of software configuration management and change management practices
- Individuals that quickly analyze and apply new information and concepts.
- Individuals who are self-motivated, able to work with little supervision, and who consistently take the initiative to get things done.
- Diverse and global teaming and collaboration
- Can quickly analyze, incorporate, and apply new information and concepts
- Ability to consistently make timely decisions even in the face of complexity, balancing systematic analysis with decisiveness.
- Working experience on AI initiatives and/or Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) will be an added advantage.
- Multi-tasking and has the ability to manage a variety of complicated tasks.
Skills Required
