Responsibilities
  • System/Software requirements definition with strong focus on software platform for Compact Fly-By-Wire (CFBW) system for Urban Air Mobility applications (UAM).
  • Design and analysis of optimal Flight Controls System implementation which follows customer specification and aircrafts configuration.
  • Design, execution, and analysis of tests for validation and verification of the system functions according to the system and software requirements.
  • Collaboration with domestic and international engineering teams and customers
  • Following the process, standards, and licenses applicable to the individual FBW programs.
  • Cooperation with Control Systems and Software teams
  • Mentoring and overseeing less experienced colleagues' work
  • Technical leadership of project execution within own team.
  • Responsibility for delivery of team's tasks on the project in time and in desired quality.
  • Active participation in the agile project decision making mechanism.
  • Provision of customer onsite support when required
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering.
  • A strong engineering background in fields such as Aero, Electrical or Computer Engineering, automation, control theory.
  • 5+ year experience in system engineering.
  • Knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink environment.
  • Knowledge in Flight Dynamics and Control LAWS principles. 
  • Fluent communication in English language (at least B1 level)

We value

  • Experience with Flight Control LAWS requirements development, testing, modelling, simulations, verification and certification.
  • Multivariable Feedback Control Systems knowledge.
  • Aeroelastic Filtering System knowledge is advantage.
  • Good knowledge of regulatory standards (e.g. DO-178B/C, ARP4754A)
  • Knowledge of programming in any commonly used programming languages (C, C++) and script languages (Perl, Python) is an advantage.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering
  • Strong engineering background in aerospace, electrical or computer engineering, automation, or control theory
  • At least 5 years of systems engineering experience
  • Knowledge of MATLAB and Simulink
