M9 Solutions is seeking an Advanced Software Engineer to work hybrid remote/on-site on a government contract for a client located in Scottsdale, AZ. An active Secret clearance is required.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications or related Science, Engineering or Mathematics fields, ensuring they meet user requirements and perform efficiently.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate solutions and troubleshoot issues.
- Design the next generation of cryptographic solutions as a member of a cross functional team.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Active Secret security clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, or related Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree, plus 3 years relevant experience.
- Ability to lead the software development process.
- Expertise in applying technical standards and methodologies to solve challenges in creative ways.
- Collaborative team player eager to provide technical leadership and positioning others for success.
- Thorough knowledge of technology trends and willingness to champion new ideas and process improvements.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development for self and others.
- Experience developing Linux applications for embedded systems.
- Capable of proposing high quality and high performing solutions with minimal input.
- Skilled in embedded Linux debugging techniques.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Experience with Vitis/Petalinux/Xilinx SoC (Zynq Ultrascale+/Versal).
- Experience with SW Defined Radio or Satellite applications.
- Experience with Secure Red/Black Separation architecture.
- Experience with Docker and podman on Linux.
- Experience with Windriver Linux.
