The Position
As an Advanced Service Manager II - Global Hardware Asset Management at Novo Nordisk, your primary role will be to oversee the global management of our devices (including PCs, iPhones, iPads, and more) throughout their entire lifecycle-from acquisition to proper recycling. This responsibility supports our 'Circular for Zero' initiative. Additional key duties include:

  • Oversee Global Hardware IT Asset Management of end-user devices.
  • Manage the IT Asset lifecycle from procurement to recycling.
  • Ensure accurate reporting and data validation of IT Assets.
  • Handle vendor and contract management.
  • Manage budgets related to IT Assets.
  • Ensure audit readiness of the Global IT Asset Management processes.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field along with a minimum 8+ years of hands-on experience in IT Asset Management of end-user devices.
  • Good knowledge on end-to-end lifecycle management of IT Assets from procurement to recycling.
  • 2+ years of experience in IT System/Service Management and Experience working on Service Now.
  • Strong communication abilities are essential, as the product team needs to interact with stakeholders worldwide, including those from different affiliates and varying organizational and technical backgrounds.
  • Proficient in ITIL processes, with experience in managing vendor contracts, handling procurement procedures, and working within an Agile framework.
  • Skilled in Excel queries and database management, with experience in auditing IT assets and managing budgets.
  • Capable of leading global meetings across various regions and training local IT asset managers. Demonstrates effectiveness in managing international IT operations and possesses a strong business acumen to drive results across different business functions.

You will be part of the Global IT Support GBS department which provides services like Global Hardware Asset Management, Situation Management, Change Management and Problem Management. You'll have the opportunity to work with diverse global colleagues as part of the Global Agile product team that represents Regional IT Services. We do so through great user experience design, proactively solving critical IT issues, providing business partnering, and local IT services to our users all around the world.
