The position
As Advanced Procurement Professional, you will join a team of 8 colleagues working within finance and procurement. In this role, you will collaborate closely with team members to develop and maintain the procurement process and drive procurement agendas in close collaboration with the management team. The team has a strong focus on standardization and utilization of best practices.
The responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as a procurement specialist and supporting line of business in their requirement for consumables (indirect purchases) or spare parts for maintenance and more.
  • Approving and challenging purchase requests from line of business to achieve competitive sourcing targets, while managing supplier relationships, including monitoring supplier performance, resolving issues, and maintaining a positive relationship with suppliers.
  • Contributing to the overview of all AM GE locally signed contracts/agreements and ensure compliance with Novo Nordisk Procurement for Manufacturing (PfM) rules.
  • Managing the procurement process from end-to-end, including issuing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and processing invoices
  • Negotiating contracts and terms with suppliers to ensure the best possible price and delivery terms, plus build positive relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors.


Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you have:

  • An academic degree in business administration, supply chain management, finance, international business or similar combined with minimum 5 years' experience in procurement, supply chain management or similar.
  • Experience in navigating the complex organizational structures in the context of a large company, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Ability to create processes to implement new initiatives while maintaining compliance; strong focus on continuous improvement of processes.
  • Proficiency in the MS Office Suite; experience with ERP Systems (SAP ECC), BSM systems (Coupa), Tableau, PowerBI, is considered an advantage.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English.

About the department
You will be part of Finance and Procurement team in Aseptic Manufacturing Gentofte. The team manages all finance partnering, project controlling and procurement activities at the site. This includes driving process excellence, optimal resource allocation, delivering insights and actions based on the available data and being a proactive partner to the organisation.
You will join a diverse and high-performing team of 8 colleagues with different business experience levels. We use our varying experience to identify gaps and propose high-quality solutions which continuous improvement and development of the processes and the organisation.
