You will contribute to the development of Honeywell's next generation of Flight Control and Flight Management products by designing, testing and validating products from prototypes to market. You will be part of a group of highly committed professionals who provide expertise and ensure the success of engineering projects and programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform design specification and verification review
- Use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment
- Track problem reports to closure
- Plan and execute project subtasks (designing, testing, etc)
- Work with engineers and technicians to ensure project and product success
- Consult with vendors and suppliers to ensure product and project compliance
- Identify opportunities and propose technical improvements by applying advanced electrical engineering knowledge and principles
Report to: Hardware Engineering Manager
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Work Schedule: M-F first 90 days. Hybrid thereafter
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
- Minimum of 4+ years of Hardware development experience

- Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- Good understanding of a variety of hardware engineering standards and specifications, especially DO-254 and DO-160
- Knowledge of Flight Control or Flight Management products

The annual base salary range for this position is $117,000 - $146,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
