As an Advanced Engineering Support Specialist here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will provide essential technical support and coordination to engineering teams, ensuring smooth project execution and help with timely resolution of engineering issues. You will play a key role in facilitating communication between cross functional teams to support product development and continuous improvement initiatives.
You will report directly to our Sr. Engineering Manager, and you’ll work out of our Phoenix Deer Valley location on a hybrid work schedule. External hires will begin with 90 days on site before transitioning to a hybrid schedule.
In this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of engineering project execution by delivering critical support services that enhance collaboration, problem-solving, and project delivery within Honeywell’s aerospace engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical and administrative support to IFS Anthem Systems engineering team, including documentation control, data analysis, and project tracking.
- Coordinate engineering execution plans, coordinating with necessary stakeholders and other support functions to achieve project objectives.
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of engineering documentation, reports, and presentations to support the decision-making processes.
- Manage the delivery of documents to customer and suppliers through established processes.
- Manage CCBs, JIRA dashboards, including reporting, JIRA ticket updates, action items, and change requests.
- Maintain and organize technical documentation using document management and configuration control systems.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance engineering processes and efficiency
YOU MUST HAVE
- 5+ Experience supporting engineering teams in aerospace development environment, with a strong focus on technical coordination and project support.
- Knowledge of engineering documentation practices, data analysis, and project management principles.
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Proficiency with additional project management and collaboration tools (Confluence, Power BI, Tableau, etc.).

- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy, Ability to analyze and present technical data clearly to engineering leadership.
