The Role: The Advanced Data Analyst will work across all PT lines of business and geographies to drive enterprise data quality, governance, and analytics initiatives supporting PT’s Digital Transformation, including S/4 HANA, digital customer experience, and enterprise analytics.
The role will focus on improving master and transactional data quality, enabling efficient business processes across Quote-to-Cash, Plan-to-Produce, Source-to-Pay, and Record-to-Report, while driving measurable business outcomes and operational excellence.
You will play a key role in defining data strategies, leading cross-functional data workstreams, and enabling analytics-driven decision-making across PT.
ResponsibilitiesPrimary Responsibilities
- Advocate and champion data-driven approaches in process improvement initiatives by leading data governance and analytics workstreams, presenting insights to leadership, and driving execution across cross-functional teams.
- Partner closely with functional leadership (Commercial, Finance, ISC, Engineering, IT) to identify insights and drive strategies that improve transactional and master data quality, process efficiency, and business KPIs.
- Design and implement data quality metrics, scorecards, and performance indicators, linking data health to business outcomes and monitoring them through structured operating cadence (MOS).
- Collaborate with the Data Quality COE, Master Data teams, Engineering, and IT to expand availability of trusted data, automate recurring data processes, and improve system integration.
- Drive data discovery, profiling, and root cause analysis to identify systemic data issues and define requirements for data cleansing, automation, and process improvements.
- Perform advanced analysis across ERP systems (SAP ECC / S/4 HANA) to identify data inconsistencies, process gaps, and opportunities for optimization.
- Communicate complex or sensitive data insights effectively to leadership and stakeholders, influencing decision-making and driving alignment across functions.
- Define, document, and harmonize data quality standards, governance policies, business rules, approval workflows, and control frameworks to ensure sustained data quality.
- Solve complex problems involving data architecture, process integration, and governance strategy, providing thought leadership and continuous improvement recommendations.
- Develop scalable processes, templates, and tools for data cleansing, enrichment, governance, and monitoring across domains (Customer, Vendor, Material, Finance).
- Engage in MOS and governance forums to drive accountability, ensure adherence to corporate data standards, and continuously improve data quality maturity.
- Support enterprise transformation programs, including S/4 HANA data workstreams (data readiness, cleansing, migration, validation, and governance).
- Enable integration across systems of record and downstream platforms including analytics, eCommerce, and digital customer experience solutions.
- Work independently with a high degree of ownership while leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing stakeholders at multiple organizational levels.
Role Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5+ Years of experience in Data Management, Data Governance, Analytics, or SAP/SFDC/Ecom/PIM Data domains
- 3+ Years of Experience working with SAP ECC / S/4 HANA, Master Data Governance, Data Migration, Informatica, Collibra and Data Quality Management
- Solid understanding of data governance concepts including metadata management, data architecture, data modeling, data integration, data Lineage and data lifecycle management.
- Familiarity with analytics and reporting tools (Power BI, SQL, Python or equivalent) preferred
