Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and provide technical support for OT Cyber Security solutions for customers in manufacturing, process industries, energy, and life sciences.
  • Lead the evaluation, deployment, integration, and validation of technologies related to industrial control systems and process control networks, including networking, servers, firewalls, remote access, and endpoint security solutions.
  • Design and implement secure network and system architectures tailored to customers' existing OT environments.
  • Investigate technical issues following deployment and perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and remediation planning.
  • Provide technical guidance aligned with industrial cybersecurity standards and best practices, including IEC 62443 and the ISO 27000 series.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Project Managers, Service Engineers, and APAC/Global Cyber Security teams to successfully deliver projects from a technical perspective.
  • Travel to customer sites as required to support implementation, testing, troubleshooting, and technical discussions.
Qualifications■ Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree (4-year university degree or higher) in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Electronics Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure, networking, endpoint security, and/or cybersecurity.
  • Strong knowledge of and practical experience with TCP/IP networking, routing, and switching technologies.
  • Experience in the design, implementation, administration, and support of Windows Server and/or Linux server environments.
  • Knowledge of or hands-on experience implementing security solutions such as Firewalls, VPNs, and Endpoint Security platforms.
  • Experience in customer-facing system deployment, system integration, implementation support, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to conduct technical discussions, gather and analyze requirements, and clearly explain technical solutions to customers.
  • Business-level Japanese proficiency (JLPT N1 or equivalent, or native-level fluency) with the ability to independently lead technical discussions, requirements workshops, and solution presentations with customers.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English through email, technical documentation review, and collaboration with APAC and global engineering teams.
■ Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience designing and supporting Cisco networking products, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Experience administering Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, WSUS, and related technologies.
  • Experience implementing IDS/IPS, SIEM, and log monitoring/analysis solutions.
  • Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity standards and frameworks such as IEC 62443, ISO 27001, and NIST.
  • Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CISSP, GICSP, Security+, or equivalent.
