Advanced Apprentice/Level 1 Stylist
INTERNAL POSTING - only grads from Industry Commercial Institute are invited to apply to join our team. Shifts are scheduled in blocks and available at one or more of the following locations: our Vedder, Abbotsford and District 1881. Some flexibility in terms of scheduling, part-time or full-time availability will be considered.
Shifts: days, evenings and weekends (depending on ft or pt)

Experience & Expertise required:
- Completed basic hair training for 520hrs + 260hr apprenticeship
- Be a willing learner, prepared to attend continued in-house education
- Able to execute basic colour theory & cuts
- Able to reliably work within a team environment
- Participation in ongoing tasks and duties
- Team player & able to endorse company core values

What We Do
The Refinery House is a community-driven health and beauty collective based in Chilliwack and Abbotsford, BC. It operates as a hair salon and aesthetics studio, offering beauty treatments, midwifery, and counselling services. Additionally, it is a certified Private Training Institute, providing professional education through programs like the Basic Hair Design Program to help aspiring stylists successfully enter the professional hair industry.
