Advanced App/Cloud Support & Engineering Specialist (Accenture LLP; Boston, MA): Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Advanced App/Cloud Support & Engineering Specialist in Boston, MA, and the job duties are as follows:
- Execute business analysis activities to support strategic direction, translating requirements into logical, structured specifications using data modeling techniques.
- Analyze and interpret user and system requirements to design and develop moderately complex system specifications and functional interfaces.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including system design specifications, operational procedures, and test plans to support application lifecycle activities.
- Coordinate and perform installation and deployment of application releases into production environments, ensuring system integrity and uptime.
- Maintain applications according to SLAs.
- Participate across the software development lifecycle, delivering engineering solutions for new system rollouts, application enhancements, and ongoing maintenance.
- Understand strategic direction and implement methods and procedures set by management.
- Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to gather and refine system requirements, contributing to the design of software solutions.
- Participate in knowledge sharing and peer reviews, supporting continuous improvement and professional development within the team.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Engineering, or related field, plus 3 years of experience in the IT consulting industry. In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, employer will accept 2 additional years of experience in the IT consulting industry.
Must have 3 years of experience in each of the following:
- Working with Utilities Customer Platforms including Customer and Field areas for Outage Management, Advanced Metering Infrastructure, Meter Reading, Billing, Credit and Collections, Finance, Field Work Management, and Customer Journey Management;
- Utilizing .Net Architecture, C# Programming language, C++ Programming Language, ASP .NET, Oracle PL/SQL, and Microsoft WCF;
- Developing software, and performing and approving code reviews;
- Troubleshooting software defects and tuning performance; and
- Creating technical designs and configurating and performing release management for multi-tiered applications.
Must have willingness and ability to travel domestically approximately 80% of the time to meet client needs.
