The People Analytics chapter is focused on enabling our people and leaders to make decisions that are informed by accurate, reliable, and relevant insights, taking actions that reflect the behaviour we need to pursue excellence across our organization, and doing all of this themselves - quickly, and easily. This includes a focus on our strategic priorities, including uplifting our people analytics through digital & AI transformation, optimization, and enabling activities – for employees, leaders and key stakeholders across the Group.

In this role

As a People Analytics Advanced Analyst, you deliver macro-level analytics by sourcing, cleaning and modelling HR and workforce data, partnering with stakeholders to set objectives, operationalising models and pipelines, and producing Power BI/Tableau dashboards that provide insights on the current HR experience within the Group and its Business Units.

Some of the key responsibilities include

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to define analytics questions, success metrics and data requirements.
  • Perform exploratory data analysis, feature engineering and rigorous statistical testing to surface patterns and validate hypotheses.
  • Build, validate and deploy predictive and prescriptive models (regression, classification, time-series, clustering, uplift/causal inference where applicable).
  • Productionise analytic solutions: create reproducible code, document pipelines and support deployment/monitoring in collaboration with engineering teams.
  • Create concise, business-focussed visualisations and dashboards (Power BI/Tableau) to communicate findings and support decision-making.
  • Maintain data quality standards and work with data engineering to resolve data issues and improve data access.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving HR analytics processes through automation using tools e.g. Microsoft Power suite (Power BI, Power Query, Power Automate)

We're interested in hearing from people who:

  • 3+ years of experience in Data Analytics.
  • Gather and clean data from various sources to ensure it is ready for analysis. Utilize tools such as SQL, Python or R, and AI virtual assistants for data manipulation
  • Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover patterns, correlations, and trends. Apply statistical methods and machine learning techniques to analyse data, generate insights, and make predictions. Interpret results to provide actionable recommendations.
  • An analytical mindset with the ability to solve problems in creative ways
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in data analytics and machine learning. Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within the analytics community and stakeholders
  • Tertiary qualified in a numerate, engineering and/or IT based disciplines such as applied mathematics, Statistics, Computing Science, Data Science.
