Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide hands-on coaching and support to engineering teams, helping them adopt consistent practices that improve delivery flow, quality, reliability, and continuous improvement.
  • Assess team needs and recommend practical tools, techniques, and ways of working that support effective engineering outcomes.
  • Promote practical engineering practices across planning, development, testing, automation, release readiness, and operational feedback.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to support low-friction adoption of engineering standards, practices, and supporting tools.
  • Assist teams in identifying and resolving practice, process, and tooling challenges that affect flow, quality, or reliability.
  • Conduct working sessions, training, and workshops to help teams build confidence with modern engineering practices.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, learning, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Work Experience / Knowledge:

  • 3+ years of experience in Devops.
  • Hands-on experience in Devops, Well versed with CI/CD
  • Prior experience in any programming language Java/python.
  • Experience working with engineering teams in software delivery, quality practices, or related technology delivery roles.
  • Foundational knowledge of modern engineering practices, including planning, development, testing, automation, release readiness, and operational feedback.
  • General familiarity with common engineering tools and workflows used across software and quality engineering teams.
  • Experience supporting teams through practice adoption, working sessions, training, or peer guidance.
  • Ability to assess team needs, identify practical improvement opportunities, and help resolve practice, process, or tooling challenges.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and applying practical engineering practices in a team coaching context.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain engineering practices clearly to teams with varied experience levels.
  • Ability to listen, understand team needs, and support adoption of new practices in a practical and approachable way.
  • Collaborative working style, with the ability to partner across software engineering, quality engineering, product, and delivery teams.
  • Flexibility to adapt coaching support to different team contexts, maturity levels, and priorities.
  • Ability to build trust with teams and encourage shared accountability, learning, and continuous improvement.

Formal Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • Relevant certifications in DevOps, Agile methodologies, or cloud technologies are a plus.
