Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain APIs and integrations using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
Implement secure API solutions with OAuth 2.0, JWT, and other security protocols.
Perform DataWeave transformations and optimize data flows for performance and scalability.
Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Integrate Mule APIs with enterprise systems such as Amazon Aurora DB, Snowflake, Data Lake and other internal systems.
Utilize Postman or Insomnia for API testing and validation.
Write and optimize SQL queries for data integration and validation.
Collaborate with architects and business teams to define integration requirements and solutions.
Proactively monitor production environments, troubleshoot, and resolve issues to maintain system stability and performance
Drive DevOps practices through CI/CD pipelines.
Ensure adherence to best practices for API design, error handling, and performance tuning.
Document service architectures, integration designs, and technical specifications for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Provide technical mentorship and support to junior developers when needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience:
8+ years of strong hands-on experience as a software engineer with deep proficiency in MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (Mule 4).
Proficiency in API design, DataWeave, and integration patterns.
Hands-on experience with OAuth 2.0, JWT, and API security best practices.
Familiarity with Postman/Insomnia for API testing.
Strong knowledge of SQL for data operations.
Knowledge of SSO solutions such as SAML, OAuth, and OpenID
Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Maven).
Hands-on experience with Bitbucket, Confluence, JIRA, and ServiceNow.
Knowledge of Java and/or Python is an added advantage.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
Financial domain experience is a strong plus.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
MuleSoft certifications (MuleSoft Certified Developer/Architect) preferred.
Self-motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision.
Technical Skills:
Programming Languages: Mulesoft Dataweave, SQL, Java/Python/APIGEE is a plus.
