The Opportunity

The Field Engineer position is a client-facing role focused on helping clients realize and quantify value driven by our Adobe solutions. This position will require deep technical knowledge of Adobe Workfront product and in-depth strategic and analytical skills. Field Engineers will work to gather and understand their client’s unique business objectives and provide advice on how best to meet their needs using the solution. In addition, engineers will collaborate cross-team to deliver recommendations, including technical and strategic services to help drive business impact and support business needs.
What You'll Do

Be a recognized authority (by clients, partners, and colleagues) in Adobe Workfront software-based solutions & technologies.

Review solution design documents and code/configuration review of solutions implemented in Workfront.

Work to educate clients on the standard methodologies in relation to their specific industry and key business requirements.

Gain in-depth knowledge of a client’s technical environment, business objectives, goals, and challenges to provide the best advice needed to drive customer success and value with the solution.

Effectively analyze project issues, identify the possible solution options, and facilitate the presentation and review of the options and our recommended solution with clients and partners.

Efficiently multi-task, working across multiple client engagements at the same time as well as key internal initiatives.

Actively maintain the highest level of technical expertise by knowing the latest Adobe Workfront developments through internally and externally available learning opportunities and self-study.

Interact frequently with clients via phone, email, and/or in-person—including interaction with marketers, analysts, web developers, and C-level executives.

Keep accurate daily records of client billable time

Use Microsoft Office products to build client documentation and presentations.
What you need to succeed
-
A solid technical understanding of Adobe Workfront, including proficiency in the work management features including the resource management and reporting features, the proofing and document features, and Workfront Fusion features such as module setup, function development, and scenario development and problem solving.

Successful implementation of Workfront in an enterprise environment including Process workflow design and configuration. Deep understanding of project timeline principles. Project Management Methodologies: Waterfall, Scrum, Kanban, PMI etc.

Within Workfront Fusion, thorough understanding of Rest API calls, JSON structures, Array refinement, scenario implementation, error handling, and governance best practices.

The capacity to understand business requirements and translate them into architecture, design, and development activities for clients using the Adobe Workfront solutions.

At least 6 years of experience in client facing Workfront integration and/or implementation work (integration, software development, networking, operations, etc.)

Must have experience in implementing Workfront for customers, along with experience integrating Workfront with other solutions such as Creative Cloud, AEM Assets, Jira, Outlook, Salesforce, Slack etc.

Preferably have Adobe Workfront Core Developer certification and/or Adobe Workfront Fusion Developer certification

Proficient Java, PHP, or Python; and JavaScript, HTML, and CSS

Familiarity with relational databases / SQL

Experience with Data migration from previous client tools & systems.

Strong preference for candidates who have deep technical expertise in other Adobe solutions such as AEM or AEP Apps (CJA, AJO or CDP) or Analytics or Target etc.

Experience articulating technical solutions and how they can solve client business problems to both technical and non-technical audiences.

The ability to adapt to and work effectively with various clients and partners in complicated situations, employing strong facilitation skills while establishing credibility and trust quickly.

5+ years of direct client consulting experience.

Be self-motivated, responsive, professional, and a champion of customer success

Possess an innovative, problem-solving approach applying Adobe Workfront.

Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

Ability to travel 50% of the time
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $114,700 -- $196,300 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
