We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Admission Counsellor to join our Admissions & Outreach team. The role involves counseling prospective students and their parents, managing the entire admissions process, and supporting institutional enrollment goals.
The ideal candidate should be passionate about education, possess a friendly and approachable demeanor, and have a proven track record in student counseling or admissions in the higher education sector.
Act as the first point of contact for student and parent inquiries (walk-ins, calls, emails, online platforms)
Provide accurate and detailed information about academic programs, eligibility, admission criteria, fee structure, scholarships, and career pathways.
Conduct personal counseling sessions to guide students in making informed academic and career decisions.
Follow up proactively with leads and maintain detailed communication logs in admissions management systems.
Collaborate with outreach teams in planning and executing admission campaigns, education fairs, school visits, webinars, and open houses.
Coordinate and assist with the application process, documentation, eligibility checks, and interview scheduling.
Support the onboarding process, including orientation programs and communication with enrolled students.
Maintain an up-to-date record of application statuses, conversion rates, and admission trends, and submit timely reports to the management.
Provide feedback to improve marketing and admissions strategies based on student queries and feedback.
Requirements
Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university.
Minimum 1-3 years of relevant experience in admissions, counseling, or student support services in an academic institution or education consultancy.
