Administrative Manager - Support Services
The Administrative Manager leads the broader administrative support team, with responsibility for team performance, staffing strategy, workflow management, stakeholder support, and continuous improvement. The role drives service effectiveness, coaching quality, cross-team coordination, and broader office or regional priorities across the support model.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead the growth, performance, and development of a Buenos Aires-based administrative support team serving senior consulting leaders across North America and Europe.
- Establish scalable practices for staffing, onboarding, workload management, delegation, and service delivery as the nearshore team grows.
- Oversee hiring, staffing, workload allocation, and development planning to support effective team performance and continuity.
- Lead performance management, coaching, development planning, performance reviews, and formal feedback processes for team members.
- Make staffing, delegation, and workload management decisions across the team to support service delivery and departmental performance.
- Build strong partnerships with senior stakeholders and functional leaders to ensure a consistent, high-quality service model.
- Maintain regular touchpoints with team members, including 1:1 meetings, coaching sessions, and performance discussions to ensure alignment and support effectiveness.
- Partner with functional leaders and internal experts to strengthen onboarding, learning, and ongoing capability building.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, service delivery, and operating efficiency as the team and support model scale.
- Lead projects and initiatives at local and regional levels, as needed.
- Participate in office lead meetings to coordinate priorities and develop best practices across teams.
- Review work output and service quality to ensure alignment with operational goals and quality standards.
- Cultivate a collaborative, innovative, and professional team environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- A university degree or equivalent experience, with at least ten years of relevant experience demonstrating advanced operational and leadership expertise.
- Experience building, scaling, or leading administrative support, executive support, shared-services, or global delivery teams.
- Experience leading teams that support senior stakeholders across North America and/or Europe, ideally within a consulting or professional-services environment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team of managers and experienced administrative professionals to achieve operational goals.
- Experience establishing scalable staffing, onboarding, workload management, and service-delivery practices in a growing or evolving organization.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to build trusted partnerships with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to make routine decisions related to task delegation, workflow management, staffing, process improvements, and day-to-day operational priorities.
- Ability to address complex, multi-faceted administrative and operational challenges requiring thorough analysis and cross-functional coordination.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with internal teams, senior stakeholders, and external clients or vendors.
