Location: Lawrenceville, VA, the Brunswick Community Corrections Alternative Program (CCAP) facilitates social behavioral change, cognitive restructuring, and substance abuse treatment programming within an Evidenced Based Practices (EBP) environment to support personal growth and prepare the probationer/parolee to return to the community.
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:45 am – 4:45 pm with an unpaid 1- hour meal break.
Pay rate: $19.23/hr. ($40,000 annually)

The Administrative Assistant is responsible for:
- Typing memos, meeting minutes, and other correspondence relevant to program operations.
- Maintaining personnel records for all Spectrum employees within the assigned program.
- Ordering office and program supplies and completing purchase orders, check requests, and other financial documents under the direction of the Program Director.
- Conducting filing in support of clinical staff.
- Maintaining tracking logs and databases relative to program clients as directed.
- Managing petty cash, tracking receipts, and completing petty cash reconciliation reports for Program Director approval.
- Strictly adhering to HIPAA and confidentiality policies when responding to inquiries for client information or copies of information.
- Acting as receptionist for the program demonstrating optimal customer service while answering the telephone, greeting visitors, and sending and receiving mail.
Qualifications:
- High School graduate/GED with a minimum of 1-year administrative services experience required.
- Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) or similar software required.
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff and the public.
- Experience working in a correctional or secure environment is highly desirable.
