What You’ll Do
- Greet and assist patients and visitors, creating a positive first impression
- Answer and manage a multi-line phone system
- Process incoming and outgoing mail, faxes, and other documents
- Provide back office administrative support to more than 70 multi-specialty practices
- Assist and support the administrative leadership team
- Perform additional duties as assigned
What We’re Looking For
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Hospitalists bridge the gap between inpatient and outpatient care and provide consistent and attentive care when the need for hospitalization arises. Our team of hospital physicians provides in-patient services at Chesapeake Regional Medical Center, Sentara Leigh Hospital, Sentara Obici Hospital, Sentara Princess Anne Hospital, and Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital.
In order to help our patients navigate a myriad of healthcare options, Bayview offers the convenience of electronic medical records and our offices are equipped with state of the art technology. We offer lab services at all locations and x-ray services at select locations, including all of our Urgent Care locations.
