We provide excellent customer service to local hospitals and healthcare professionals and represent one of the most prominent companies in the Medical Waste Industry. We are looking for an Office Assistant to help with the organization and running of the daily administrative operations of the company. The ideal candidate will be a punctual, hard-working individual who can undertake a variety of office support tasks while working diligently under pressure. This person will be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail and discretion, and will be a self-starter eager to learn new duties along the way. This role comes with paid training, leading health benefits, tuition reimbursement, and vacation/PTO after 90 days, making it a great opportunity to grow within a stable and expanding company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence efficiently.
  • Assist with scheduling, calendar management, and meeting coordination.
  • Maintain organized records, files, and office supplies.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and other documents as needed.
  • Support HR and operations teams with onboarding and administrative tasks.
  • Perform data entry, filing, and database management accurately.
  • Assist in coordinating company events and team activities.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve minor office issues or escalate as appropriate.
  • Other duties as needed.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of standard office equipment (copiers, scanners, printers, etc.)
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving aptitude.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must pass pre-employment criminal background check and drug screening.
