  • Serve as a liaison and provide administrative support to GRA leaders and subordinate team members.

  • Coordinate meetings, conference calls and departmental meetings.

  • Perform routine administrative duties including but not limited to scheduling of staff appointments for proofreading, screening e-mails, sending emails on LT member’s behalf, document generation, booking of travel and preparation of expense reports. 

  • Coordinate and maintain calendar/schedule and travel itineraries.

  • Coordinate and manage special projects as assigned.

  • Prepare simple to detailed presentations, to include creation of supporting text and insertion/creation of graphics utilizing Microsoft PowerPoint.

  • Record meeting notes and prepare summaries of meetings.

  • Routinely handle confidential and time-sensitive information, including budgets and headcount.

  • Support colleague and contractor on-boarding and off boarding, maintain organizational charts, and provide support for recruitment activities.

  • Manage IT requests for team members.

  • Supports other GRA administrative personnel to provide pooled services.

The minimum qualifications for this role are:

  • High school diploma/GED required.  Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.  Minimum of 2 years demonstrated administrative experience; however, 3-4 years of administrative experience preferred.  A combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration. 

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook and Teams is required.

  • Must possess advanced administrative skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and time management skills.  Must have a strong work ethic and consensus gathering skills. Must possess strong computer skills.

  • Ability to read and interpret general business documents.  Ability to write routine reports and general business correspondence. Ability to work with peers and communicate basic concepts.

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide. 

  • Typically sitting at a desk or table.  Intermittently sitting, standing, walking, and/or stooping. Light lifting requirements.  Periodic travel may be required.

  • 2-3 days per week in the Washington, DC office

  • Normal office situation

  • Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading and writing English is required.

Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.  The salary range for this position is $37,000 - $73,000.
