WHAT YOU WILL DO:

The Administrative Assistant is a non-exempt position? responsible for facilitating the efficient operation of the assigned department or Program by performing a variety of clerical and administrative tasks.

  • Manage internal systems and workflows, including the collection and sharing of information to relevant stakeholders
  • Provide office support for staff
  • Arrange and manage logistics for meetings, programs, and development activities
  • Schedule and update services and program activities

  • Answer and transfer phone calls, screening when necessary
  • Copy, scan, and file documents
  • Maintain office supplies and coordinate maintenance of office equipment
  • Prepare and edit correspondence, communications, presentations, and other documents
  • Enter data in Excel and other databases
  • Maintain a system for recording expenses and the use of petty cash
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

  • High School degree and/or secretarial or business school training, or at least two (2) years of appropriate experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications, specifically Word and Excel
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift and/or carry office supplies, files, etc., up to 25 pounds when required.
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Ability to work independently.
