Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Assistant to support our Texas Market operations in Dallas/Fort Worth. The ideal candidate will specialize in permitting, compliance, and operational coordination, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

1. Permitting & Regulatory Compliance

· Submit and track "One Call" notifications (e.g., Texas 811) to request utility locates for excavation projects.

· Secure permits for job sites, ensuring adherence to Dallas/Fort Worth and Texas regulations.

· Assist in preparing and submitting traffic control plans to local authorities.

2. Field Ticket & Revenue Support

· Review daily field tickets for accuracy, verifying pricing and cross-referencing employee hours with GPS logs.

· Assist with creation of field tickets for dispatch in Fieldpoint (experience with this software is a plus)

· Maintain daily/weekly revenue trackers (training provided for company-specific tools).

3. General Administrative Duties

· Address ad-hoc administrative tasks such as document organization, data entry, and report generation.

· Serve as a liaison between field teams, permitting agencies, and internal departments.

Requirements

Experience:

· 2+ years in administrative roles, preferably in construction, utilities, or field operations.

· Familiarity with Texas 811, permitting processes, or regulatory compliance is a strong plus.

Skills:

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and basic IT troubleshooting.

· Ability to interpret GPS logs and field tickets.

· Strong organizational skills with a focus on accuracy and deadlines.

· Clear communicator, comfortable liaising with agencies and field teams.

Education: 

· High school diploma required; Associate’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.

Work Environment

· Office-based in Alvarado, TX with standard business hours (occasional overtime during peak periods).

· Collaborative role requiring coordination with safety, field, and operations teams.

Physical Requirements

· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

· Must be able to lift 25 pounds at times
