You’ll play a key part in supporting our store teams by creating a welcoming, organized, and people-focused experience behind the scenes. Through strong communication, attention to detail, and a commitment to service, you’ll help ensure our teams have the support they need to deliver an exceptional fresh shopping experience every day.   • Deliver outstanding internal customer service while supporting Farm Boy’s vision of the best fresh shopping experience.
  • Partner with store leadership and key stakeholders to support strategies that drive business goals and operational success.
  • Foster a culture of trust and engagement by supporting open communication, celebrating successes, and sharing team goals.
  • Serve as a point of contact for store team members by responding to employment-related inquiries, including pay, benefits, and policy or guideline clarification.
  • Support new hire administration by coordinating orientations, preparing onboarding packages, and assisting with benefit enrollment documentation.
  • Provide administrative support for ADP processes, including data entry, timecard corrections, system reporting, absence management, and system auditing.
  • Assist with store staffing activities by greeting candidates, scheduling interviews, and supporting candidate screening processes.
  • Support day-to-day store administration, including uniform inventory, filing, invoice processing, locker and name tag administration, and communicating scheduling updates.
  • Assist with Health & Safety program administration by preparing and posting SOPs and sweep logs, and maintaining training compliance documentation.
  • Ensure the accurate and timely administration of employee benefits, WSIB programs, training compliance tracking, office inventory systems, and employee records
  • Take on additional responsibilities on a periodic basis to support overall store success.

Qualifications

  • A genuine passion for delivering engaging and exceptional customer service.
  • Completion of a post-secondary program with an emphasis in Office Administration, plus a minimum of one year of progressive experience in a similar role, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Level A First Aid and Basic CPR certification, or a commitment to complete within six months.
  • A high level of accuracy, organization, and pride in delivering quality work with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a genuine passion for supporting and engaging team members.
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion, professionalism, and sensitivity.
  • Previous experience with ADP systems and payroll-related statutory legislation considered an asset.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced setting that that involves multiple deadlines, extended periods of sitting, repetitive movement or tasks, frequent computer use that may cause eye strain, and working amid open-office noise and interruptions. 
  • Flexibility to work a dynamic schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Fluency in English; French language skills considered an asset.
