Job Description

Better Days is looking for an organised and proactive Administrative Assistant to support the smooth day-to-day running of the team.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, a confident communicator, comfortable with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace, and able to juggle multiple priorities with discretion and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing calendars and scheduling meetings 
  • Handling correspondence and phone enquiries 
  • Maintaining accurate records and filing systems
  • Preparing documents and reports, ordering supplies, and
  • Providing general support to staff and leadership.

 

Qualifications

  • Previous administrative, office support, customer service, or receptionist experience is advantageous.
  • Good standard of education, including English and Mathematics (or equivalent).
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in healthcare, allied health, or a similar service-based environment is beneficial but not essential.
