DOMAIN 2: ADVANCEMENT & OFFICE RESPONSIBILITES
2.1 Database Management

Record, reconcile, and report donations and donor-related correspondence

Maintain database and corresponding files

Collaborate with the Finance department regarding donation reports

Assist Director of Development with weekly, monthly and quarterly email campaigns
-
Assist with other school mailings as requested
2.2 Advancement Office Operations

Provide assistance to supporters to enhance user experience
-
Process department expenditure requests
-
Complete purchasing requisitions
-
Assist with the sorting and distribution of advancement materials

Completes other duties and projects as assigned
2.3 Front Office Support

Greet and assist all guests entering the school office

Answer telephone and assist callers
-
Respond promptly to all email/phone messages
-
Prepare forms for necessary for front office operations
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Sitting (60%), standing/walking (20%), lifting (7%), climbing (3%), bending (5%), squatting (5%). Must be able to lift 10-25 pounds.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work environment includes indoor and outdoor environments and office and classroom settings. Floating desk assignment and/or shared office space may be required; moderate noise levels commensurate to a classroom environment.
QualificationsQualifications:
- Must be a born-again Christian.
- Must be a credible Christian role model whose godly lifestyle and character demonstrate obedience to God and the Holy Bible.
- Must be able to support and comply with the school’s Statement of Faith and Statement of Conduct.
- Must be a member of an evangelical, Bible-believing church.
- Must have sufficient health and physical endurance to be able to complete the assigned responsibilities.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Power Point, Excel
- Must have ability to learn SIS software and web-based school management software and other web-based donor management software.
- Must have good verbal and written communication skills, with proper command of the English language.
- Ability to work independently with strong organization and time management skills to maintain program structure.
- Must have strong organizational skills for filing and detailed project assignments.
- Maintains a workspace environment that is conducive to productive school office.
- First Aid/CPR Certificate.
- TB clearance within the last four years.
- Criminal Justice Fingerprint clearance.
- Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986: An Eligibility Verification Form (I-9) will be required along with the supporting documents listed on the I-9 form.
Skills Required
