About the role

Work with academic and professional colleagues to provide effective and efficient administrative support for the School of Nursing and Midwifery.Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality administrative support across the School of Nursing and Midwifery, ensuring efficient daily operations.
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas and minutes, and manage meeting communications and follow-up actions.
  • Maintain accurate records, databases and spreadsheets, while collating data and preparing professional reports and correspondence.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, providing timely and professional support to students and key stakeholders.
  • Manage and maintain internal databases, registers and administrative systems to support School operations.
  • Support the implementation and administration of School policies, procedures, guidelines and forms in collaboration with key stakeholders.
  • Build strong relationships across the School, University and external partners to promote collaboration, compliance and effective service delivery.
Qualifications, skills & experience
  • Completion of a diploma level qualification, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
  • Demonstrated administrative experience, preferably in tertiary or other education sectors.
  • Demonstrated competency in various software packages including the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Visio), Adobe, In-Design, and timetabling programs (Allocate, Sonya).
  • Highly developed communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to exercise initiative and judgment as appropriate, and work in a flexible and dynamic environment with competing priorities to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to collaborate across multifunctional teams, providing a high level and responsive service.
  • Proven record of preparing high quality documentation with excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
