We are seeking a full-time highly organized and detail-oriented candidate to support our firm’s staff with all administrative aspects of their client work; this individual will also be processing the final product of prepared tax returns. The right administrative professional will be able to demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, the ability to multi-task, and be able to quickly adapt to the ever-changing tax world. Qualifications
A successful candidate should possess the following:
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Innovative thinking with a view toward change management

Ability to work with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe
At least three years of administrative experience
One year of tax processing experience preferred, but not required
Knowledge of Thomson Reuters tax/accounting software preferred
Ability to work overtime to meet tax deadlines
(approximately 50 hours/week from March 1 – April 15)
Position Responsibilities
Work closely with our team to ensure a quality product is delivered to clients, including effectively processing and assembling 1099 filings, tax returns, and e-filing returns with taxing authorities
Mail hard copies of tax returns/financial statements and send electronic deliverables
Carry out administrative duties such as scanning, copying, organizing, and properly distributing sensitive documents
Reply and correspond with clients in a timely manner
Maintain electronic and physical filing systems
Oversee supply inventories by checking stock and anticipating supply needs
Provide support to Business Operations Manager when needed
Act as a backup to the receptionist when needed
