About the Role:
We are looking for an Account Manager / Senior Account Manager to join our client team in the Netherlands.
This is an opportunity for someone with strong experience in promotional merchandise, branded products, premiums or product sourcing and development who combines excellent account management with a genuinely commercial and proactive mindset.
You will manage Premiums opportunities from initial idea and client brief through sourcing, production and final delivery. Just as importantly, you will look beyond the briefs already on the table. You will build strong relationships across the client organisation, understand upcoming campaigns, launches and activation plans, and proactively identify opportunities where Premiums can add value.

Responsibilities

Client development and growth

-Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders, becoming a proactive Premiums partner rather than simply responding to incoming briefs.

- Proactively identify and develop Premiums opportunities across existing client stakeholders, brands and business areas.

-Build and maintain a forward-looking Premiums pipeline aligned to client activation calendars, campaigns, product launches and wider marketing priorities.
-Develop a strong understanding of client stakeholders and their business areas, including previous activations and plans, to identify opportunities before briefs are formally raised.
-Bring relevant new Premiums ideas, product concepts and solutions to clients proactively.

-Identify opportunities to grow revenue through repeat projects, new Premiums concepts and cross-division or cross-brand opportunities.
-Demonstrate strong commercial awareness and understand how individual projects and opportunities contribute to wider account growth.
Premiums development and delivery

-Understand and constructively challenge client briefs and business needs, translating them into creative, relevant and commercially viable Premiums solutions.
-Own Premiums projects end-to-end, from initial opportunity and briefing through product development, sourcing, production and final delivery.

-Work closely with sourcing teams and suppliers to explore and benchmark solutions, achieving the right balance of quality, cost, sustainability and lead time.
-Develop clear estimates, proposals and recommendations that provide transparency and value for the client.

-Present Premiums concepts, recommendations and commercial proposals confidently to client stakeholders.
-Coordinate internal teams, sourcing partners and suppliers to ensure projects progress smoothly and agreed timelines and standards are achieved.
-Maintain visibility over project budgets, timelines, approvals and key milestones, proactively identifying and resolving potential delivery issues.
-Ensure projects meet relevant brand, quality, sustainability, commercial and process requirements.
Account management

-Act as a key day-to-day contact for relevant client stakeholders and provide clear, proactive communication throughout projects.
-Build a detailed understanding of the client's brands, stakeholders, marketing calendar and commercial objectives.

-Work collaboratively with the wider account team and internal specialists to identify opportunities and deliver integrated solutions.

-Maintain accurate project and commercial information, ensuring opportunities and live work are visible to the wider team.

-Identify opportunities to improve ways of working, client engagement and the overall value delivered by adm Indicia.

Skills and Experience

We are looking for someone who can combine strong Premiums knowledge with commercial curiosity and excellent client management.

-Strong knowledge of Premiums, promotional merchandise, branded products and/or product sourcing and development.

-The ability to take a client need or marketing brief and turn it into a compelling product solution.

-Strong client-facing and stakeholder-management skills, with confidence presenting ideas and recommendations.

-A proactive commercial mindset and the ability to spot opportunities beyond the immediate brief.

-An understanding of sourcing and supplier management, including the ability to evaluate solutions across cost, quality, sustainability and lead time.

-Strong project and account management skills, with the ability to manage several opportunities and live projects simultaneously.

-Commercial awareness, including confidence working with budgets, estimates and commercial proposals.

-Strong product curiosity and creativity, with the ability to translate brands, campaigns and consumer needs into relevant Premiums ideas and concepts.

-Strong organisation and attention to detail alongside the ability to see the bigger commercial picture.

-A solutions-focused approach and the ability to remain calm and effective when priorities change.

-Existing knowledge of the promotional merchandise/Premiums supplier landscape and international sourcing would be advantageous.
Requirements

-Minimum of 3+ years' relevant experience within Premiums, promotional merchandise, branded products, product sourcing/development or a closely related marketing services environment.

-Demonstrable experience managing Premiums or branded-product projects from brief through sourcing/production to delivery.

-Experience working directly with clients or senior internal stakeholders.

-Evidence of proactively developing opportunities, rather than working solely from incoming briefs.

-Commercial awareness and experience managing project budgets, estimates or proposals.

-Ability to work effectively across internal teams, sourcing specialists and external suppliers.

-Fluent Dutch and a good professional working level of English is required.

-Ability to work on a hybrid basis, including three days per week at the client's office in Rotterdam.
