Location: Mexico, Argentina

Work modality: hybrid

Scope: regional, global

Seniority: Associate Director with direct reports.

Job Overview: We are looking for a strategic leader to oversee Safety Operations (PV – Case Intake and Case Processing). This role involves collaborating with global teams, ensuring compliance with regulations, and driving operational efficiencies. You will work closely with various stakeholders to achieve local and global goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with managers to address operational issues and optimize staff utilization.

  • Ensure services meet client contracts, KPIs, and SLAs.

  • Interact with clients to understand requirements, resolve issues, and mitigate risks.

  • Ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations.

  • Advise senior management on safety trends and risks.

  • Cross-train direct reports on Safety services.

  • Develop and monitor training plans.

  • Support audits and inspections.

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Manage project budgets and hold regular meetings with direct reports.

  • Implement employee engagement plans and maintain open communication.

  • Prepare for bid defense meetings and provide inputs for RFIs or RFPs.

  • Contribute to internal and customer project meetings.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences or related field.

  • 10+ years of relevant experience, including PV and staff management.

  • In-depth knowledge of Pharmacovigilance and safety case processing.

  • Flexibility to work in shifts and global time zones.

  • Strong business acumen, leadership, and project management skills.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and networking abilities (either in Spanish or English).

  • Ability to work independently and make decisions.

  • Customer-focused with experience in contracting models.

  • Creative, innovative, and solutions-driven.
