Requires an active TS/SCI with CI Poly prior to consideration.

Provides support in accordance with established organization and office policies, regulations, and procedures. Directs and oversees the receipt, tasking, tracking and closure of all internal and external tasks. Manages the action tracking system. Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with customers and other stakeholders of the offices both internally and externally. Personnel at this level shall be able to perform all of the tasks and have the skill set of an Intermediate Level.

This position is contingent upon award.

  •  Lead, develop and streamline support functions
  •  Identify internal and external issues and take appropriate action as approved by the US Government
  •  Author, consolidate, coordinate and edit executive-level documentation to ensure consistency with organizational strategic objectives; apply an in-depth knowledge and understanding of DoD/IC issues, policies, programs and procedures
  •  Make recommendations and prepare briefings, point papers and other materials based on analysis of complex policy issues and documents
  •  Participate in external committees, IPT, working groups and task forces
  •  Ensure critical information is disseminated to internal and external agencies including the Office of Secretary of Defense, Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) and mission partner equivalent offices

Requirements

Bachelors degree in a related field and 10 years of experience desired.

Skill Set:

  •  Knowledge of federal acquisition requirements, DoD IC budget & finance, and National Security Policy
  •  Knowledge of systems engineering, project or program management
  •  Ability to understand and write in systems engineering technical language
  •  Knowledge of DoD/IC organizational structure, mission, vision, culture, values, philosophy and operating principles
  •  Experience working with senior executives at multiple organizational levels
  •  In-depth knowledge and understanding of DoD/IC issues, policies, programs and procedures
  •  Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and standard computer applications
  •  Skill to adapt to a rapidly changing work environment while maintaining flexibility and versatility
  •  Ability to foster solid relationships that promote cooperation and communicate expectations
  •  Ability to analyze situations and make well informed decisions
  •  Ability to communicate effectively and concisely using a variety of styles and techniques appropriate to the audience
