We are currently seeking an Acoustic Engineer. This position requires an experienced professional with a solid background in Audio, Acoustics and Electronics industry; proven record in audio system development to be applied to future EV environment. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to possess the ability to learn quickly and to strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment
The Role:
Define and develop world-class audio systems for Lucid vehicles
Responsible for audio component specification & development. eg. microphones, amplifiers & speakers
Responsible for the integration of acoustic components into the vehicle
Test speakers, microphones and amplifiers - in-lab and in-vehicle
Tune and optimize acoustic performances and advanced audio features in vehicle
Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience
Experience in audio transducer design, tuning and integration
Understanding of basic audio digital signal processing such as equalizers and limiters
Experience in audio or acoustic measurement instruments and equipment - measurement microphones, audio precision, etc.
Experience with the factory testing of speakers, microphones and integrated audio systems
Understanding of microphone and speaker technologies
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiar with microphones and speaker technology and its application to automotive
Experience with voice processing such as echo, double talk, microphone array processing and beam-forming
Education Requirement:
BS or MS in Electrical Engineering
Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.
Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs. (Cash or equity incentive awards, if any, will depend on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and company performance.)
Base Pay Range (Annual)
$188,100—$313,500 USD
